A total of seventy-four fashion houses are on the official schedule, with 42 runway shows and 32 presentations spread over six days, from Tuesday, January 16 to Sunday, January 21, 2024. As usual, Paris will be bustling with unofficial events and parties, often serving as springboards for new talents and independent houses.
As for the fashion trends, Vanity Fair fashion expert Pierre Groppo predicts a return to slightly more classic elements, with leather shoes instead of just sneakers, and new ways to wear ties as jewelry, for example. “Oversize is expected to continue, we will see a lot of dropped shoulders, and there will be a lot of shine and glitter effects,” he adds.
