For over a year, a judicial investigation has been launched against Dino Scala. However, the judge in charge of the case has still not questioned the main person of interest. Faced with this situation, Dino Scala’s lawyer decided to send a letter to the judge to demand a meeting.
A new case for Dino Scala, convicted of 54 sexual assaults and rapes
Two years after being sentenced to twenty years in prison for 54 sexual assaults and rapes by the Assize Court of the North, Dino Scala is suspected in another case. Despite the opening of a judicial investigation over a year ago, he has not yet been questioned by the judge handling the case. Franceinfo was able to consult the letter sent by Dino’s lawyer to the magistrate to request an interrogation, confirming information from RTL.
Judicial investigation opened for an additional 15 rapes and sexual assaults
In March 2023, a judicial investigation was opened to investigate 15 additional rapes and sexual assaults attributed to Dino Scala. His lawyer, Margaux Mathieu, points out that despite the numerous mentions of her client in the media as the main suspect in this case, he has still not been heard or summoned for questioning as part of the investigation, compromising his rights of defense.
Margaux Mathieu regrets the delay in questioning Dino Scala, which prevents access to the file and proper defense. To this day, Dino Scala has not been charged in connection with this new judicial investigation. His lawyer also denounces violations of the secrecy of the investigation, following the disclosure of information by several media outlets concerning this case.
