After serving his sentence in prison, the victim finally regained his freedom. Unfortunately, his return home turned into a nightmare when he fell into a trap set by two individuals. These individuals, without mercy, opened fire multiple times on the victim’s back, inflicting serious injuries.
A man murdered in Ajaccio
A man was shot dead on Wednesday night while he was returning home on his scooter, according to information from France Bleu RCFM. The incident took place in the Résidence des îles. The victim, a 49-year-old chef, was known to judicial services and had just been released from prison, wearing an electronic bracelet.
According to statements gathered by France Bleu RCFM, two hooded and armed individuals set a trap for the victim. A shootout broke out, seriously injuring the man in the back and upper body. The attackers then fled in a car.
Unfortunately, the emergency services, alerted around 11:20 pm, were unable to save the victim. Shortly after, the firefighters were called to extinguish a fire in a vehicle abandoned near the marine cemetery. A weapon was found inside the car, according to a source close to the investigation cited by France Bleu RCFM.
