A 25-year-old individual was seriously injured and had to be taken to the hospital for treatment. The police managed to arrest a suspect who was placed in custody as of Sunday. However, three other individuals involved in the incident are still on the run, leading authorities to issue a call for witnesses to obtain additional information.
A man fighting for his life after being beaten during the Feria de Dax
A 25-year-old man is in critical condition after being violently assaulted during the Feria de Dax, in the Landes region. According to information reported by France Bleu Gascogne on Sunday, August 18, the Dax prosecutor’s office issued a plea for witnesses to find the perpetrators of this violent attack, which also left three other victims with minor injuries.
One of the suspects is already in custody, and the prosecutor’s office has requested his indictment for “aggravated assault” as well as his provisional detention. The three other suspects are still at large, after attacking a group of four people between 4:30 and 5:30 in the morning on Saturday, August 17. They were wearing black and were driving a black Clio and a black Golf. One of the attackers was wearing a blue cap, according to information provided by the Dax prosecutor’s office.
The seriously injured victim was taken to the Dax hospital. Anyone with information about the attackers is urged to contact the Dax police station.
